Haryana Police Recruitment Rules will be revised again. In the new rules, 4.5 marks obtained in Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST) can be deducted. Recently the government has said that if numbers are to be given then NCC numbers should be given.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has also been asked to keep rules as per CET in police recruitment. Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar has held a meeting with the Police Department, Home Department and AG Office regarding this.
Khullar has discussed police recruitment with all the three departments regarding the rules in the meeting. HSSC has been asked by Khullar how the rules should be amended. What is the problem with what the commission wants? Khullar has asked all the departments that the rules should be amended in such a way that there is no problem in finalizing the recruitment. After receiving these instructions from the CMO office, the legal cells of the commission and the police department have become active.
Any amendments to the rules will have to be approved by the cabinet. PMT-PST numbers will be cut or added. Although the cabinet meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 27, these amendments to the police recruitment rules will not be kept. There is also a possibility that the revised draft may be approved by the ministers through circulation.
Only after that, a request letter will be sent from the Commission for the recruitment of 5 thousand male and 1 thousand female police employees from the police department. Only after this the advertisement for commission recruitment will be released.
