Haryana’s Home Minister Anil Vij held a public court at his residence in Ambala. There, he listened to hundreds of grievances and directed officials to take action. A complainant from Charkhi Dadri informed Home Minister Anil Vij about being implicated in a false case of misconduct by a woman, demanding 20 lakh rupees for settlement. The police had not addressed his complaint. Home Minister Anil Vij instructed the SP of Charkhi Dadri to form an SIT for re-investigating the case.
Meanwhile, a complainant from Panipat alleged falsely implicating his mother and wife in a murder case. He claimed they were not present at the scene of the crime. Home Minister Anil Vij instructed the SP of Panipat to conduct a re-investigation into the matter.
A complainant from Kurukshetra revealed that agents demanded money under the pretext of sending his son to the US. He paid 53 lakh rupees, but instead of sending him to the US, the agents first sent him to Dubai and then brought him back to the country.Now, when he demands the money back, he is being threatened. Home Minister Anil Vij instructed the formation of an SIT to deal with the scam.
Similarly, a contractor from Yamunanagar stated that he was contracted to build a house in Yamunanagar and was promised 8 lakh 82 thousand rupees for the work. However, he only received 4 lakh 77 thousand rupees, and when he demands the remaining amount, he is being threatened. Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SP of Yamunanagar to take action in the matter.
