Haryana’s Home Minister Anil Vij has stated regarding the upcoming farmers’ march to Delhi on February 13th, “We will ensure the complete maintenance of peace in our state and will not allow it to be disrupted in any way.” In this regard, we have requested companies from the center and will restore peace in the state. Vij was responding to questions from media personnel here today regarding the upcoming farmers’ march to Delhi on February 13th. He stated that if additional police force is needed, it will also be requested.

Former Prime Ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao, and agricultural scientist Dr. M.S. Swaminathan were asked about being honored with the Bharat Ratna. In response, he said, “Those who were overlooked by previous governments, the Bharatiya Janata Party has honored them with the Bharat Ratna.”

He criticized the Congress, saying, “The Congress cannot get out of the Gandhi-Nehru family, but the BJP does not discriminate in this way as to which party, religion, caste, or region one belongs to. If someone is capable and deserving, they should get their due.” He said that Chaudhary Charan Singh was a very prominent leader of the farmers and struggled for their rights throughout his life. Responding to questions about the opposition’s intention to bring a no-confidence motion in the upcoming budget session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly starting from February 20th, he said, “A response will be given to the opposition’s no-confidence proposal, but the opposition has nothing to say.”

Responding to questions about the black paper brought by the Congress, he said, “The white paper symbolizes light, and the black paper symbolizes darkness.” He said that our policy and scripture say ‘Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya’, meaning ‘Lead me from darkness to light’, so everyone except those few, who are well-known, should come towards the light.
