The Haryana government has ordered the immediate suspension of Deputy Tehsildar Alamgir and Patwari Lalit Kumar in a case of delaying the confiscation of a complainant’s property and submitting a false report. Additionally, instructions have been given to take action against both under Rule 7. In this case, the Haryana Rights Commission found the Deputy Tehsildar guilty of delaying confiscation. The Commission imposed a fine of Rs. 20,000 on the Tehsildar and also ordered compensation of Rs. 5,000 to the complainant.

Chief Minister’s OSD Bhupeshwar Dayal stated that Kamala Devi, a resident of Bhiwani, had filed a complaint on the CM Window regarding the transfer of property in her and her sister’s name as per her father’s will after his demise. The CM Window took cognizance of this complaint and sought a report from Deputy Tehsildar Alamgir. Alamgir, citing Patwari Lalit Kumar’s report, submitted a report to the CM Window stating that the complainant had been provided a copy of the transfer deed, whereas Kamala Devi did not receive any copy of the transfer deed.

Bhupeshwar Dayal mentioned that upon investigation of this matter, it was revealed that the Deputy Tehsildar and Patwari had submitted a false report to the CM Window.

In response, CM Manohar Lal immediately suspended Alamgir and Lalit Kumar. Additionally, the Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue, along with the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, were directed to submit a report on the actions taken in this matter within 10 days.
