Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission’s newly appointed chairman Nand Lal Sharma met Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Monday. Discussions were held on subjects related to providing better service to Haryana’s electricity consumers and how to enhance arrangements for green energy. The meeting addressed ways to improve services for Haryana’s electricity consumers and discussed measures to further promote green energy. It is noteworthy that the Indian government aims to generate 500 gigawatts of green energy in the country by 2030, with a target of fulfilling 50% of the electricity demand with non-fossil fuels. The discussion also focused on Haryana’s role in supporting this initiative.
