On the second day of the winter session of the Haryana Assembly, the leaders of the ruling party and the opposition faced each other on many issues. Meanwhile, amid the controversy over slips and expenses in government jobs, CM Manohar Lal took oath by placing his hand on Geeta in the House. He said that if any officer is found involved in the recruitment of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC), he will be immediately dismissed. Earlier, Congress MLA Raghuveer Kadian said that the slip and expenditure in HPSC was caught from the Deputy Secretary. Kadian said, “CM sir, you believe in Geeta, become Arjun and shoot the arrow.”
The issue of poisonous liquor echoed on the second day of the winter session of Haryana Assembly. INLD MLA Abhay Chautala, Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma, Balraj Kundu raised questions regarding the deaths due to poisonous liquor in Yamunanagar-Ambala. Abhay Chautala said that the government is failing to control poisonous liquor. Anil Vij told the House on behalf of the government that 20 people died due to drinking poisonous liquor.
In Anil Vij’s reply, Abhay Chautala said that there are many flaws in the government’s reply. He said, “the officer who has given you the figures is misleading. I will give this complete report tomorrow itself.” On this, Home Minister Anil Vij replied saying, “you probably slept for a while.
I was reading information one by one.” On Vij’s reply, Abhay Chautala cited the CAG report and said that do not try to take this issue lightly. He questioned saying “Where is the report of the inquiry conducted? Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that everyone should get a chance to speak in
the House.”
In response to this, Anil Vij said that the liquor factory of Dhanora was caught, and that the main accused has connections with Congress.
On this Hooda said that a criminal is a criminal.
There was a heated debate between Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta regarding the case of Congress MLA Geeta Bhukkal.
