Trump holds his own event at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to counter Harris’s speech. His response comes amid controversy over a New York rally where a comedian made offensive remarks about Puerto Rico. Trump defends the event, calling it a “love fest,” the same term he used for the Capitol riot. He accuses Harris of spreading “hate and division.”
Harris will visit key battleground states in the final days of the campaign. Her campaign announced that singer Jennifer Lopez will join her in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday. They aim to energize young and Latino voters.
