Terror organization Hamas has recently released a video of an American Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, on Wednesday. Declaring by his presence, that he’s still alive despite being severely injured during his captivity on 7th October 2023.

Who Is Goldberg-Polin?

The hostage was taken by Hamas from Nova music festival during the 7th October attack. Which resulted in the casualty of 1,200 and in the kidnapping of more than 200 people.

Through the video, Goldberg-Polin doesn’t seem to possess a substantial portion of the left arm. When being taken hostage, his arm at that time got severely wounded.

What did he Say?

In the video, he introduces himself. Giving his birth details and the names of his parents. He said that it’s been more than 200 days since he was taken captive. Which tells us that this video was shot before 23rd April at 200th day of the conflict.

Just like spoken by other hostages, in propaganda videos published by Hamas, criticized the government of Israel especially Benjamin Netanyahu.

Further, he asked his family to remain strong and extended his wishes for Passover festival. (Which is a Jewish holiday).

Reaction Of Polin’s parents

The parents of the hostage expressed their relief seeing the face of their son after a long time. But however, they also expressed their concern about him and other victims.

Later, his family asked for his release and other hostages.

What Will USA do?

The Biden administration has established the contact with the hostage family. The FBI is analyzing the video for evidence related to Polin’s captivity.
