Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Delhi Congress has launched a comprehensive outreach campaign aimed at addressing critical issues facing the people of the capital. Led by Devender Yadav, Interim President Delhi Congress, the party is mobilizing its workers to connect with citizens on a grassroots level.

A key component of the campaign is the distribution of Congress guarantee cards, with party workers going door-to-door to ensure every household is aware of the party’s promises. These promises encompass a wide range of issues, including price rise, unemployment, GST, rehri-patri vendors, pollution, women’s safety, law and order, JJ clusters, resettlement, and unauthorized colonies.

Highlighting the importance of engaging with the electorate, Yadav announced plans for a series of “Town Hall” meetings. These gatherings will provide a platform for in-depth discussions on pressing issues and allow citizens to voice their concerns directly. The highlight of these meetings will be an address by Rahul Gandhi, demonstrating the party’s commitment to engaging with voters at all levels.

In addition to traditional outreach methods, the Delhi Congress is embracing social media to reach a wider audience. Novel publicity methods will be employed to ensure the party’s messages resonate across the capital. Road shows, corner meetings, and public gatherings will also be organized to build momentum leading up to the elections.

Devender Yadav also emphasized the impact of BJP policies on the youth of the country, citing rising unemployment as a pressing concern. The Congress aims to offer a brighter future for young voters through targeted schemes and initiatives. With a focus on first-time voters, the party aims to garner support by promising a secure and prosperous future under Congress leadership.

Critiquing the lack of transparency in the current administration, Yadav highlighted the importance of media in upholding democracy. While Congress leaders have maintained regular interactions with the public, PM Modi’s absence from press conferences has raised concerns about accountability. The Delhi Congress remains committed to open dialogue and transparency, pledging to address issues affecting the people head-on.
