In a shocking incident, Gippy Grewal, the renowned Punjabi singer, witnessed an attack on his residence in the White Rock area of Vancouver, Canada. The incident occurred at Grewal’s recently acquired residence, where he and his family were present. Four bullets were fired, causing damage to Gippy’s newly purchased Lamborghini parked outside.
Following the assault, a Facebook post purportedly by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi surfaced, claiming responsibility for the attack.
In the post, Lawrence directly addressed Gippy Grewal and issued a warning. He stated, “You consider Salman Khan as a brother, but now it’s time for your brother to come and save you. Don’t be under the illusion that Dawood Ebrahim will save you. No one can save you.”
The post continued to mention Grewal’s reactions to the deaths of Sidhu Moosewala and Vicky Middukheda, hinting at connections and potential threats. Lawrence warned Gippy, stating that the recent incident was just a trailer, and the full movie would be released soon. Urging Gippy to flee to any country, Lawrence emphasized that death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi music industry, raising concerns about the safety of artists. Fans and industry members have expressed their worries for Gippy Grewal’s well-being. However, Grewal has not yet responded to the situation.
In response to the attack on Gippy Grewal, Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkar Singh, accused the government of inaction regarding his son’s killer. He alleged that the government failed to take action against the perpetrator despite his son’s interview. Singh commended the Punjab Haryana High Court for its decisive stance, with the next hearing scheduled for November 28. During the upcoming hearing on November 30, all the accused will be named, challenging the Punjab government to substantiate the claim that the interview occurred within the confines of a jail.
