The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced candidates for 15 seats in Gujarat in its first list of 195 seats for Lok Sabha polls. The campaign has started as soon as the list of BJP candidates came out. On the other hand, the opposition has not announced a single candidate so far.
In the list of 15 candidates announced on Saturday, 10 MPs have been repeated. Now everyone’s eyes are on the remaining 11 seats of Gujarat.
BJP may announce names for remaining seats within the next 10 days. Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme on March 12, Gujarat will get candidates for all 26 seats.
Before the announcement of elections, BJP will announce all the candidates. BJP has made a strategy to win with a big lead. Then there will be meeting on the remaining seats on March 6. And there will be brainstorming on new names.
According to sources, PM Modi can take a shocking decision on Surat and Vadodara seats. Surprising candidates will also be seen on four seats of Saurashtra. Surprising names of candidates may emerge on Bhavnagar, Amreli, Surendranagar and Junagadh seats.
BJP’s master plan is to capture all the 26 seats in Gujarat. BJP has given a chance to contest elections only to those candidates who can win. New candidates have been selected for 5 seats.
As expected, it has been decided that Mansukh Mandaviya and Parsottam Rupala will contest for Lok Sabha from Porbandar and Rajkot respectively. Both are loyal to PM Modi.
BJP has once again given a chance to Poonam Madam. In Banaskantha, BJP announced an unknown name in its first list by cutting the ticket of experienced Parbat Patel.
Dr. Rekha Chaudhary has been given the ticket. Tickets of Rajkot MP Mohan Kundaria and Porbandar MP Ramesh Ghaduk have been cancelled due to their poor performance.
Bharat Dabhi, who did not want to contest elections in North Gujarat, has again been given the ticket from Patan seat. Mansukh Vasava from Bharuch and Prabhu Vasava from Bardoli, Devusingh Chauhan from Kheda and Mitesh Patel from Anand have also been given tickets again. Dinesh Makwana, for Ahmedabad West seat, who has been Deputy Mayor of Ahmedabad twice, has got an opportunity. When Dr. Kirit Solanki’s ticket has been canceled due to his age.
Ratan Singh Rathore’s ticket has been cut from Panchmahal seat and Rajpal Singh Jadhav has got the ticket.
Jaswant Singh Bhambhor has been replicated on Dahod. Whereas in North Gujarat, Chaudhary has taken the place of Chaudhary.
BJP has expressed confidence of victory on Mansukh Vasava. Therefore, along with new faces, women have also got priority.
Now everyone’s eyes are on the remaining seats. Candidates for other 11 seats will be announced soon.
