Cadet Mandeep, who recently returned from the Republic Day Parade Camp, received a grand welcome at Government College, Kalka. Principal Promila Malik honoured Mandeep with a bouquet and trophy. Subedar Joginder Singh from Haryana Battalion also congratulated Cadet Mandeep during the celebration. Mandeep, a third-year B.Com student at Government College, Kalka, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome.
Principal Promila Malik shared her joy on this occasion, stating that Mandeep’s achievement is not just a matter of pride for the government college but for the entire state, and they are committed to maintaining this reputation. She applauded the outstanding work of the NCC unit, emphasising its excellent contributions. Cadet Mandeep took the opportunity to share his experience at the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2024 and expressed his gratitude to his teachers, seniors, and all the unit members.
Cadet Mandeep mentioned that marching on the Path of Duty is a dream for any NCC cadet, and he feels fortunate to have had this opportunity. He attributed his success to the blessings of his parents and the support he received since joining NCC.
Lieutenant Yashveer, in-charge of the NCC Boys Unit, and Lieutenant Gurpreet Kaur, in-charge of the NCC Girls Unit, congratulated Mandeep, considering him a source of inspiration for everyone. They expressed pride in the fact that cadets from their unit are making significant contributions and bringing honour to the college. Lieutenant Dr. Gurpreet and Lieutenant Dr. Yashveer, dedicated in-charges of the NCC unit in the college, were recognized for their commitment.
Professor Dr. Bindu also extended her congratulations to Mandeep and wished him a bright future.
