A government official who works for the power department in Patna had his home seized by the Patna special vigilance unit, which discovered assets worth more than one crore rupees, according to a statement from the agency.
Following the issuance of a search warrant by the Ld Court of Special Judge Vigilance, Patna, on September 19, the investigators conducted raids at the accused’s office and residences in Banka, Purnia, and Bhagalpur, according to officials.
Following this, the agency filed a case against the accused, identified as Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, working as an electrical executive engineer with Bihar South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited under sections 13(2)r/w 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
