On Tuesday, Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari arrived in Jaipur at the PCC headquarters where he addressed the media at the PCC headquarters. Mumtaz Masih, President of the Optional Area Development Center in the PCC, Prakash Chhangani, a member of the State Selection Committee of the Child Rights Directorate, Ram Singh Kaswa, Secretary of the PCC, Swarnim Chaturvedi, Secretary of the PCC, and Jaswant Gurjar, Secretary of the PCC, welcomed Tiwari.
Speaking about political attacks, he said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is now a sinking ship. He said, “The coalition parties have recognized this sinking ship, and one by one, they are breaking ties with it. In Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK has broken ties with the BJP, which has reduced its majority in the Rajya Sabha. The BJP’s coalition partners are in a frenzy to escape from this sinking ship.”
Tiwari added, “If you look at all the governments formed by the BJP in Rajasthan and compare them to the work of the Gehlot government over the past five years, you will see that the Gehlot government’s work stands out. I say this with confidence; Gehlot is the best Chief Minister. No BJP-ruled state has accomplished as much as the Gehlot government has.” He mentioned that the Gehlot government has provided relief to the people from inflation while guaranteeing employment, which is why the people of Rajasthan have faith in Congress and not in the false promises of the Prime Minister.
Pramod Tiwari said that the coalition parties are not afraid of Modi; they are afraid of the ED, Income Tax, and CBI. He said, “Look at what is happening in Rajasthan. Modi visited Rajasthan on Monday, and the ED raids began on Tuesday. In Rajasthan, the BJP is weak, so the ED is being used wherever the Prime Minister goes and where the BJP is weak.”
Pramod Tiwari said, “Rahul Gandhi spoke the truth. No one talks about the situation in Chhattisgarh, where it is uncertain which party will come to power. In Madhya Pradesh, the public is fighting against the BJP. There is so much anger in Madhya Pradesh that people are insulting Shivraj Singh. The situation is not the same in Rajasthan, but Gehlot knows each seat individually.”
Tiwari criticized the central government for failing on the issue of inflation. He said, “What can be said about a government in whose tenure tomatoes are sold at Rs. 250 per kilogram? I have never seen anyone buy tomatoes at Rs. 250 per kilogram. The Prime Minister comes to Rajasthan and talks about rising prices. The Gehlot government has provided gas cylinders for 500 rupees.”
He said, “Narendra Modi had promised to make the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project a national project and solve the water problem of 13 districts. But Modi has forgotten this promise, which is why the people of the state consider his promises as empty rhetoric. In the Rajya Sabha, I raised this issue, but the central government gave a vague response.”
