After getting out on another golden duck in the ongoing ODI series between India and Australia India’s batting veteran Sunil Gavaskar ridiculed Suryakumar Yadav on his batting style.
As batter Suryakumar Yadav made a phenomenal entry for India in the T20I and even his rose to the top spot in the ICC batting rankings in last year. But, the India’s star has failed to score runs in the ODI format as he is still stuck with his bad form against Australia. Following this India’s legend Sunil Gavaskar given his statement of Suryakumar’s batting technical issues and said, “He is facing technical difficulties. Also his stance is an open one. It is good for T20 cricket because any delivery that is overpitched, he can flick it for a six. But here, when the ball is placed right near the foot, with this stance, the bat will definitely come across. It cannot come straight. Hence, if the ball turns inside, he will face difficulty. He needs to spend time with the batting coach on how to come out of his. In the last 20 innings, Suryakumar has failed to make an impact as he has scored just 433 runs just at an average of 25.47 with only two-half centuries.
