Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya left Jamnagar, Gujarat on Sunday with a fantastic experience, having attended the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, is scheduled to marry Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, later this year.
The second day of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations saw celebrities give incredible performances.
On social media, several images and videos from the Saturday night event went viral.
Ganesh Acharya spoke with the media about his experience and said, “It was a very good program. Celebrities from across the world were present here yesterday. Indians should host their wedding in India only.”
Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji are also present for the extravagant celebration.
Prominent athletes such as MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rohit Sharma arrived there to attend the celebrations.
The first day of the celebrations featured a unique drone show and a fantastic performance by pop sensation Rihanna.
Nita Ambani, the founder and chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, talked with Radhika Merchant about her son Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding event.
She discussed the value of culture and the arts and expressed how “passionate” she is about it, saying “Throughout my life I have been inspired by arts and culture. It has deeply moved me and I am very passionate about it.”
While talking about her son’s wedding she mentioned, “When it came to my youngest son Anant’s wedding with Radhika, I had two important wishes – first, I wanted to celebrate our roots…Jamnagar holds special place in our hearts and has a profound significance. Gujarat is where we come from, it’s where Mukesh and his father built the refinery and I started my career by converting this arid and desert like area into a lush green township and a vibrant community.”
