We are Indians. Our country India is an agricultural country. Vasundhara here gives birth to countless plants. It is a mine of valuable herbs. The entire country is divided into different provinces. Each province has its own geographical characteristics. The saying “Apni Mati, Apna Chaman” is true in every province. There is also variation in soil fertility due to regional variations. In Ayurveda, only plants are used as medicines. Roots, stems, branches, flowers and leaves of trees and plants are all used as herbs. All these are life giving.
When the ocean was churned, fourteen gems came out of it, one of which was Lord Dhanvantari, who is considered the originator of Ayurveda. The treasure of Ayurveda is found in our country and the world salutes the medical science here. The knowledge of Maharishi Charak is world famous. Sage Chyavan was an expert on herbs. Rishi Chyavan himself prepared a medicine from a mixture of herbs, by consuming which he brought his declining state back to youth. Even today, the herb- Chyawanprash prepared from herbs is considered an excellent medicine.
The knowledge of Ayurveda is found in the Vedas and Puranas.
It is well known that during the exile period, Sumitranandan Lakshman was hit by the Shakti arrow fired by Ravana’s son Meghnath in the battlefield deployed for the conquest of Lanka, due to which Lakshman became unconscious. His life was in danger.
At that time Sushen Vaidya was called from Lanka, who ordered to bring Sanjeevani herb. It was also said that if Sanjivani herb was choked and given to Laxman before morning, his life would be saved. Lord Ram was crying bitterly. He was repeatedly saying that what answer will he give to Mother Sumitra and Goddess Urmila? Pawanputra Hanuman brought Sanjeevani herb in time and Lakshman’s life was saved.

Treasure of Ayurveda in our kitchen
Kitchen has a special place in the house. It is the God temple of the house. There is a store of life force here. Every spice used in the kitchen contains a storehouse of medicinal elements of Ayurveda. I have tried to express the medicinal quality of the spices used in food items to the best of my ability –
Salt- no matter what spice is there in the pulses and vegetables prepared in the kitchen. Or not. Can be cooked only by adding salt.
Salt has special importance in food.
Turmeric – Adding a pinch of turmeric to hot milk and drinking it helps in improving the body’s health.
Provides relief from pain. a little bit of turmeric
Mix salt and two drops of mustard oil for brushing.

Vaata Dosha is cured by applying cumin seeds.

Fenugreek- Fenugreek is of vata destroyer nature. like cashewnut
Made by sprinkling Vata nature vegetables with fenugreek
One teaspoon in a glass of water at night.
Soak fenugreek seeds. Filter and drink the next morning.
Weight is reduced and relief from arthritis occurs.
Celery – Celery is a treasure of rich aroma. windproof
It is a spice. Add a little salt to the celery and heat it.
If you take Funki with water, you will get instant relief from stomach ache. Get. Beneficial in toothache.
Dry ginger – Consumption of dry ginger keeps the digestive system strong and helps in relieving headache.
Provides relief and reduces obesity.
Black pepper – relieves constipation, reduces hair fall
Helps in reducing weight and prevents depression.
Clove- relieves toothache and removes bad breath in winter.

Protects from cold
Cardamom – There are two types of cardamom – small cardamom, big cardamom.
Cardamom. Burning sensation during urination due to eating large cardamom.
Both cardamoms strengthen the liver.

Cinnamon-controls blood pressure and sugar.
Strengthens. Prevents cancer.
Bay leaves – The respiratory system becomes stronger. Sugar remains controlled.
Prevents dangerous diseases like cancer.
Flaxseed – relieves constipation and reduces weight. heart strong

Asafoetida – The atmosphere also becomes fragrant with the aroma of asafoetida. Asafoetida
Consuming it provides relief from stomach ache, gas and constipation. It is no exaggeration that our kitchen contains the treasure of Ayurveda.
