According to an official on Monday, a large fire started in a banquet hall of a multi-story building in the Vasundhara neighborhood of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. However, the official stated that no casualties had been reported. “We received reports that a large fire had started in a banquet hall of a building in the Vasundhara neighborhood of Ghaziabad at about 2:10 p.m. Four fire fighters were sent to the scene right away. Five or six people were stuck on the top floor. Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Ghaziabad Rahul Kumar said, “Everyone was saved. “Also, in the banquet hall, where a ceremony was going on, there were 50-60 people present. All of them were evacuated. No casualties have been reported,” the CFO added.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
