FIIB brought together over 200+ participants and 70+ experts join as judges, panelists, and keynote speakers for the 9th edition of FRC.

Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), one of India’s pioneering business institutes, successfully hosted the 9th edition of FIIB Research Conference (FRC), themed “Reimage, Rethink, and Redesign Business”, inspiring innovative, meaningful, and impactful business, and management solutions. The conference was joined by over 200 individuals from across the globe, including countries like the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Germany, and South Africa. More than 70 global experts contributed as judges, panelists, and keynote speakers. Key collaborators of the conference were the Center for Behavioral Insights (CBI), the Center for Responsible Management (CRM), Common Time, and the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Technology (CIET).

Key Highlights of the Conference:

The Research Conference comprised of a case study presentation, 3-minute thesis presentation, paper presentation competition, panel discussions, keynote speeches, and Ideation Bootcamp. The Ideation Bootcamp was a three-day event where scholars collectively identified key industry problems of Climate Change and Customer Trends, framed research questions, and formulated concise research proposals. The key themes discussed during the conference included the use of AI/ML and AR/VR across industries, the entrepreneurship ecosystem, digital leadership and social capital, and integration of sustainability into several sectors. The conference comprised of three insightful workshops The Paper Development Workshop, Common Time Workshop on Importance of Dance and Movement, and Integrating UNSDGs for Research Workshop.

Elucidating the fundamental visions of the conference, Prof. Radhika Shrivastava, Executive Director of FIIB, said, “At FIIB, our fundamental vision is to promote thought leadership, behavioral intelligence, holistic skill development and entrepreneurial sustainability. Through FIIB Research Competition, we aim to redesign and reimagine the business and management scenario, providing innovative, sustainable, impact-oriented solutions to real world problems.

  • The Importance of Case Studies in the Business Industry, delivered by Manisha Srivastava, the Associate Director at Birlasoft.
  • Cracking the Code for Publishing Case Studies, focusing on key guidelines, delivered by Shalini Rahul Tiwari, Associate Professor, Institute of Management Technology.
  • Introduction and Implications of Behavioural Science in Several Industries, delivered by Huma Khan, Director, Behavioural Research Scientist, Fidelity Investments, US.
  • Beyond Influence: Future Casting the Evolution of Behaviour Change, delivered by Russell W. Belk, Distinguished Research Professor, and the Kraft Foods Canada Chair in Marketing at Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada.
  • Can Business Save the Planet: The Commitments vs The Contradictions to SDGs, delivered by Sudipta Marjit, CHRO and Head, Tata Autocomp.
  • Making SDGs Everyone’s Business: The Role of Academic Research in Advancing SDGs Achievement, delivered by Matthijs Bal, Professor of Responsible Business, University of Lincoln, UK.
  • Investing for a Better Future: Building Innovative, Sustainable and Inclusive Technologies, delivered by Sanjit Roy, Professor of Marketing and Service Science, Edith Cowan University, Australia, and Mr. Ramendra Verma, Partner (Transformation Practice) at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, New Delhi.
