Balkaur Singh, father of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has made serious allegations against the Delhi jail officials. He said that gangster Lawrence might have paid ransom to the authorities in exchange of getting facilities in jail, that is why he has planned the murder of his son Sidhu despite being lodged in Delhi jail. They suspect that the jail administration helped Lawrence in planning this massacre. Agencies should investigate this.
Balkaur Singh has written on social media that CBI has revealed that the former DGP of the jail and the Jail Minister have extorted money in exchange for providing facilities to the criminals in jails. After this revelation by CBI, do we still need evidence to expose the relationship between criminals, officers and politicians? Today it has been 536 days since Sidhu’s death, but justice has not been provided.
Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said that it has been more than one and a half years since his son was murdered. Gangster Lawrence and his associates who killed his son have not been punished yet. Balkaur thanked Sidhu’s fans and said that it is only with the help of their love that the family is able to face this sad time.
He said that the situation in Punjab is continuously worsening. Murders are taking place in broad daylight. Ransom is being demanded. If Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann makes even a little effort, the situation in Punjab can change.
Balkaur Singh said that gangster Lawrence, who murdered Sidhu Moosewala, gave a video interview to a TV channel while sitting inside the jail of Punjab. But Punjab government did not take any action. Now the Punjab and Haryana High Court has taken cognizance and issued a notice to the government, his family welcomes it. The work which should have been done by the government is now being done by the court.
He said that he has been forced to face every possible hurdle for one and a half years to get his son’s murderers punished.
Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said that today gangsters in Punjab are killing people without fear. A policeman is publicly beaten up and murdered, but the government is powerless to stop it.
