An explosion occurred and fire broke out simultaneously at the pharmaceutical company SB Organics Limited in Chandur village of Sangareddy district on Wednesday, resulting in the death of four individuals.
According to Srinivas, District Fire officer, Sangareddy, “We have recovered 4 bodies. We are in the firefighting operations and around 10 persons might be injured. The incident occured due to the explosion at a Pharma Industry in Handnoor mandal, Sangareddy. Four fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire.”
He added that the deceased have been retrieved, and there is a concern that the fire could reignite due to the presence of chemicals, hence they remain vigilant with foam and fire extinguishing equipment.
Previously, an explosion at SB Organics Limited in Chandur village of Sangareddy district led to a fire on Wednesday. Police authorities stated that five individuals sustained severe injuries in the incident.
Fire tenders arrived at the scene and successfully managed to contain the fire.
