The incident occurred in Ludhiana’s Sherpur area when a Balero vehicle collided with a motorcyclist, leading to the immediate death of the young man. Subsequently, the driver of the Balero left the scene. Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police have begun an inquiry and have noted the vehicle’s registration number, as reported by eyewitnesses.
Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that after the collision, the Balero vehicle briefly stopped and then left the area after seeing the injured condition of the motorcyclist. It was clear that the young man had lost his life. Within an hour, the police arrived at the scene and are currently conducting investigations.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Ram Nagar area, and his family members are also rushing to the location.
Investigating officer Karamjeet Singh mentioned that they received a tip that helps them to track down the Balero vehicle, and they are working based on statements from witnesses. Singh stated that they are also examining the vehicle’s statements from eyewitnesses to proceed with their investigation. Further details are being probed in this case.
