On a day the top leadership was huddled in meetings, the BJP appointed Union ministers and senior party leaders as in-charges for the upcoming state elections this year, stepping up its preparations.
In Rajasthan, the BJP leadership appointed Union Minister Pralhad Joshi as in-charge.
Former Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel and former Haryana Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, who joined the saffron party in August last year, have been appointed co-in charges. They will lead and coordinate the electioneering for the party ahead of the Assembly polls later this year.
