A group of young leaders, who were expelled from the Samajwadi Party, is preparing to launch their own faction before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Richa Singh, P.D. Tiwari, Pradeep Tiwari, and Brijesh Yadav spoke to the media in Lucknow on Friday, expressing their concerns about safety. Richa Singh also made strong statements about the Samajwadi Party’s social media team. Other young leaders who are in disagreement with the party have raised serious concerns about prominent leaders within the Samajwadi Party.
Recently, the Samajwadi Party expelled three prominent youth leaders simultaneously. This group includes Pradeep Tiwari, a former National President of the Lohiya Vahini and a close associate of Akhilesh Yadav, Brijesh Yadav, the former State President of the SP Youth Wing, and P.D. Tiwari, a youth leader. Furthermore, Richa Singh, who contested against Siddharth Nath Singh, the former Cabinet Minister from the Western Seat of Allahabad in the legislative assembly elections of 2017 and 2022, was also expelled from the Samajwadi Party this year on charges of indiscipline. At that time, following Swami Prasad Maurya’s inclusion in the SP and after raising questions about the representation of forward and backward classes, Richa Singh became vocal and outspoken.”
“During a press conference in Lucknow, Dr. Richa Singh, expelled from the Samajwadi Party, strongly criticized SP leader Akhilesh Yadav. Additionally, Richa Singh made serious allegations against Manish Jagan Agrawal, the social media coordinator of SP, demanding action against him. She pointed out that Akhilesh Yadav, the National President of SP, shares responsibility for Manish’s disrespectful comments.
The three other leaders expelled from the Samajwadi Party also raised serious allegations against party president Akhilesh Yadav and his close associates. Among them, Swami Prasad Maurya and Udayveer Singh expressed the strongest discontent. Regarding the PDA issue, these leaders clearly state that they tried to make Akhilesh Yadav understand the matter, but were disappointed by his response. Furthermore, these expelled youth leaders from the Samajwadi Party announced the creation of a separate front against the Samajwadi Party starting in September.”
“Pradeep Tiwari, who held various responsibilities in different front organizations of the Samajwadi Party, revealed that when they discussed the PDA issue with Akhilesh Yadav, he refused to listen. He added that when Swami Prasad Maurya hinted at the burning of the Ramcharitmanas, Pradeep Tiwari opposed it, but his concerns were ignored. He mentioned that the statements made by Swami Prasad Maurya are presented with Akhilesh Yadav’s agreement. Additionally, he emphasized that Akhilesh Yadav will face consequences, causing significant damage in the upcoming elections.
