Pushpa 2 actor Allu Arjun left the Chikkadpally police station, where he was brought in for questioning regarding the December 4 Sandhya Theatre stampede incident. This incident also led to his brief arrest on December 13.

Police personnel were stationed outside as actor Allu Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally police station for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation into the stampede during the screening of his movie ‘Pushpa 2’, in Hyderabad, on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Telugu actor Allu Arjun appeared before the Hyderabad Police on Tuesday following a summons issued to him on Monday in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede of December 4, in which a woman lost her life, and her son sustained injuries during the premiere of the actor’s film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

Top Telugu actor Allu Arjun was grilled by police for over three hours on Tuesday when he appeared for questioning in connection with the death of a woman during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2′ on December 4.

Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally police station, accompanied by his father Allu Aravind and lawyers, shortly after 11 AM. The questioning lasted until 2:45 PM. A police team led by Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav conducted the interrogation, as reported by PTI.

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla alleged that the individual who vandalized Allu Arjun’s Hyderabad residence was a close associate of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Actor Allu Arjun left the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad after being questioned in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.

Sources suggested that Allu Arjun might be taken to Sandhya Theatre again for scene reconstruction related to the December 4 stampede incident.

White sheets were placed at the entrance of actor Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on Tuesday, as he appeared before the Hyderabad Police.

Heavy security was deployed at the Chikkadpally police station during Allu Arjun’s questioning. Traffic within a 200-metre radius of the station was restricted.

Pushpa 2 producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar handed over a ₹50 lakh cheque to the victim’s family in the presence of Telangana Minister for Roads & Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad.

BRS MLA Harish Rao criticised Congress for targeting Allu Arjun, stating, “Today, there are many issues, including farmers’ and minorities’ concerns, but Revanth doesn’t address them.”

BJP leader Raghunandan Rao described the incident as “a small case” and urged police not to take stringent actions.

Chikkadpally police recorded Allu Arjun’s statement as part of their investigation.

The December 4 stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ led to the death of a woman and injuries to her child.
