Amidst public outcry over petrol and diesel, a relieving update has emerged. As per received information, following Jalandhar, now the strike by tanker operators in Ludhiana has also ended. It’s reported that the supply of petrol and diesel at fuel stations in the metropolis will be fully restored from tomorrow morning. Prior to this, the strike in Jalandhar city in Punjab was called off by this evening.

It’s noteworthy that due to truck drivers’ strike against the new Hit and Run law, heavy crowds have been observed at petrol pumps in Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh. The word spread among people that due to the strike, fuel is running out at petrol pumps. Hence, people have lined up for refueling their vehicles. Bus services in Punjab have also been affected. Reports have indicated long queues at petrol pumps in Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Bathinda, and other districts of Punjab.
