It was back in 2011 when Radhika Apte was still a fresh face in the film industry. During the release of ‘Shor in the City’, which was directed by Krishna DK, there were rumors that Radhika Apte was dating Tusshar Kapoor.
Radhika Apte is now known for her international projects and critical acclaim. It was then that gossip made the rounds that she and Tusshar had really connected. However, years later, in an interview with Mashable India, Radhika clarified that the rumors were nothing but a publicity stunt — one she wasn’t even informed about. “I had gone to London to study contemporary dance. ‘Saibo’ became a huge hit, so they called me back for promotions. Then they only spread some link-up rumors about me and Tusshar. It obviously wasn’t true. I didn’t know. Initially, I was very entertained because I got an article that I was apparently in Goa celebrating Valentine’s Day with Tusshar Kapoor, and I was studying for my exams in London,” she shared.
A second major media flurry surrounding the supposed romance happened in a conversation between producer Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar while appearing together on ‘Koffee with Karan’, presented by Karan Johar.
When Karan tried to prod Tusshar into revealing who he was dating, Ekta mentioned Radhika’s name with a peculiar tone, even describing her as “attractive in a horsey way.”
Tusshar appeared uncomfortable and attempted to redirect the conversation, but the remark has resurfaced online more than a decade later, sparking criticism.
Hate how they are laughing off Radhika Apte .Do they love being this vile to newcomers and outsiders?

Social media users have commented on the clip, one of them stating, “Yeah Ekta, I mean you’re also attractive in a Gutkha way.” Another user commented, “I thought Tusshar was pretty decent and almost trying to save Radhika in this interview.”
Others shared sentiments like, “So tasteless and then they call themselves classy,” and, “No amount of money can give you class.” Another comment noted, “That condescending attitude towards a Marathi surname while working in Maharashtra,” while one user criticized the behavior, saying, “Calling someone ‘horsey’ just because you’re ‘jealous’ is such a loser behavior.”
Later, on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, she said about the episode, “At that time, I was in London studying dance. I still really don’t know why this was said.” The same thing, though, Radhika mentions that otherwise Ekta has been kind to her in person.
Radhika who has welcomed her daughter recently has been married to the British musician Benedict Taylor since 2012.
