Education Minister Madan Dilawar and Civil Lines MLA Gopal Sharma arrived to break the fast of ‘Tiranga girl’ Tanjim Merani, who was sitting on a fast at the VT ground in front of Shipra Path police station in Mansarovar. On Monday, 20-year-old Muslim girl Tanzeem Merani was on fast for the last five days demanding a complete ban on hijab in educational institutions, implementation of the Uniform Civil Code and early implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act.
After this, Education Minister Madan Dilawar and MLA Gopal Sharma together reached the fast site and made Tanzeem break his fast by giving him juice and promised Tanzeem’s father Aamir Merani to discuss his demands with the CM and implement them in Rajasthan soon.
