In Haryana, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at 20 locations belonging to mining businessmen, targeting individuals such as Congress MLA Surendra Panwar from Sonipat, his associate Suresh Tyagi, Manoj Wadhwa (formerly of INLD, now BJP) in Karnal, and INLD leader Dilbag Singh from Yamunanagar.

ED teams were deployed to Yamunanagar, Sonipat, Mohali, Faridabad, Chandigarh, and Karnal on Thursday morning to investigate potential money laundering within the mining business. Central security forces, alongside local police, were engaged during this operation. Congress MLA Panwar is involved in mining operations in both Haryana and Rajasthan.

Upon reaching the 20 locations, individuals were restricted from entering or leaving their residences or offices. ED officials are actively reviewing documents at these sites.
The ED teams initiated the search at the residence of Congress MLA Surendra Panwar in Sector 15 of Sonipat early in the morning, with Panwar present at home. Scrutiny of mining-related documents is underway at both his home and office. A similar investigation is taking place at the residence of his mining business partner, Suresh Tyagi.

Furthermore, ED executed raids at the residence of BJP leader Manoj Wadhwa in Karnal, who operates a mining business in Yamunanagar. Wadhwa, who contested the 2014 assembly elections from Karnal on an INLD ticket against CM Manohar Lal but subsequently joined BJP after his defeat, is now under investigation.

Simultaneously, ED officials conducted searches at the residence and office of former Yamunanagar MLA and INLD leader Dilbag Singh. Singh, who lost the 2014 elections to BJP candidate Ghanshyam Das Arora, is currently facing scrutiny in connection with the ongoing raids.
