CHANDIGARH: Earthquake tremors occurred in Haryana late night. Due to this earthquake of magnitude 2.6, tremors were felt in Rohtak and some surrounding areas. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 11.26 pm on Sunday night. The epicenter of the earthquake was Khedi Sadh village, 7 km east south-east of Rohtak, Haryana. Movement has been recorded five kilometers below the earth. Earlier, on the 5th of September, earthquakes had occurred twice in the same day. The first shock of the earthquake came at 12:27 am and the second shock at 1:44 am.
