Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has assured that the work on the ambitious Dungarpur Banswara Ratlam Rail Project in the tribal-dominated Vagad region of Southern Rajasthan will be given more speed in the coming times. Also, the work will be completed soon. He said that efforts will also be made to connect Mewar and Vagad regions of southern Rajasthan with maximum rail services.
Vaishnav gave this assurance to a delegation from the Vagad region led by Banswara-Dungarpur MP Kanak Mal Katara who met him in New Delhi on Tuesday. The delegation expressed gratitude and congratulated the Union Railway Minister for resuming the work of the Dungarpur Banswara Ratlam Rail Project. Also said that this project will prove to be the new lifeline of Vagad and its completion will boost the industry, business and tourism of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Also, Banswara, the only district of Rajasthan deprived of rail facilities, will be connected with rail facilities.
The delegation included Harish Patidar, Velji Patidar, Ramesh Patidar, Kamalkant Patidar, Harsh Vardhan Singh Bharat Singh Nilesh Sadh etc. Also invited Union Railway Minister Vaishnav to visit the Vagad region.
