Dr. Rakesh Magotra has officially taken charge as the Director Health Services Jammu, succeeding his role as the Medical Superintendent at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu. This appointment coincides with Dr. Magotra’s existing responsibility as the Deputy Director Health Services (HQ) Jammu.
Dr. Rakesh Magotra’s journey in the health sector began as an Assistant Surgeon in the Health Department. Over the years, he has served in various capacities, including as Block Medical Officer in Bishnah, Deputy Chief Medical Officer in Samba, and Chief Medical Officer in Kathua. In his expanded role as the Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Magotra will oversee and lead healthcare services in the Jammu Division. His extensive administrative experience and commitment to public health are expected to contribute significantly to the improvement of the healthcare system in the region.
