A surprising and unsettling incident occurred at Amity University in Sector 126, Noida, when a snake entered a classroom during an ongoing lecture. The incident, which involved a “nagaraj” snake, has gone viral on social media after being caught on camera by students.
Chaos in the Classroom
The lecture was progressing as usual when the snake suddenly appeared from an air conditioner duct. Students were initially focused on their studies but quickly shifted their attention to the snake, causing a sudden outburst of panic. Many students grabbed their phones to record the incident, and the video has since been widely shared online.

Not the First Wild Encounter in Noida
This isn’t the first time wild animals have found their way into urban areas around Noida. Recently, a python was spotted in a nearby village in Greater Noida, constricting a nilgai (a type of antelope). The forest department was able to rescue and safely relocate the python back into the wild.
Altercation at Noida Hospital: Two Arrested for Assaulting Guards
In a separate incident, two men were arrested in Sector 126, Noida, for assaulting security personnel at a hospital. The accused, identified as Akshay Sehgal and Vaibhav Sehgal, were caught on CCTV footage attacking a male security guard after being denied entry to a patient’s floor due to not having the required hospital card.
Heated Confrontation Caught on Camera
The altercation occurred when the men, who were using a lift, were stopped by the security guard from entering the floor without the proper documentation. Enraged, the duo stepped out of the lift and began beating the guard. When a female security guard attempted to intervene, she was forcefully pushed to the ground. The situation de-escalated only after bystanders stepped in to stop the fight.
Police Action and Arrest
The Noida police promptly arrested the two men following the incident. They are currently facing charges of assault and public misconduct. The hospital authorities have since assured patients and visitors that security measures will be strengthened to prevent such incidents in the future.
