Built on the high floors of the iconic Ambwatta One, within the alleys of the luxe Qutub Complex in Mehrauli, Cocktail Room by Miso Sexy captured our hearts, eyes, and taste buds with its warm ambience and breathtaking views. As we stepped onto the rooftop, we were immediately captivated by the beautifully set space, complete with fine furniture, tasteful decor, the delightful presence of organic herb plants that added a touch of freshness to the surroundings, and of course – the majestic view of Qutub Minar!
We started our evening by exploring their innovative drinks menu. The Fresh n Sexy, a refreshing mocktail infused with the zesty combination of orange, lemon, and mint, instantly quenched our thirst and left us feeling rejuvenated. Next we sipped on to their Dirty Rusky, a gin-based cocktail with the tangy sweetness of passion fruit, the brightness of lemon, and the invigorating freshness of mint, which was a delightful concoction that transported our taste buds to new heights (pun intended!). The Mango Coriander Picante was a unique blend of mango, pineapple, gin—all with a spicy kick that left us eager for more.
As we delved into Cocktail Room’s food offerings, we were acquainted with an array of flavours and textures. The T&T Roll, a vegetarian sushi roll filled with the crunch of edamame and the creaminess of avocado, was a perfect start to our culinary journey. The Dry n Red Chilli Chicken was perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender and had a tantalising spicy taste that danced on our tongues, and was an ideal companion to our gin! The dishes were generously portioned and were accompanied by a medley of vegetables that added a refreshing touch, while also making us feel health.
The Cream n Cheese Dumplings were filled with oyster mushrooms and a luscious cheese filling. The use of truffle oil in dumplings elevated the dish to new heights and the Hong Kong Gyoza was just as good. The mushroom dumplings were loaded with a delightful crunch of peanuts and a hint of chilli oil that gave us comfort and satisfaction with each bite!
Our culinary adventure wouldn’t have been complete without trying Cocktail Room’s Chicken Crackers. The well-seasoned fritters, with a blend of herbs, spices, cheese, and accompanying sauces, provided a delightful balance of crunchiness and tenderness, making them an irresistible indulgence.
To call it a day on a sweet note, we binged on the Pineapple Taiwan Cake which was served with a wholesome scoop of vanilla ice cream. Topped with almond slivers, the cake was a symphony of flavours and textures that left us feeling utterly content. The warm pineapple muffin, stuffed with luscious chocolate, was a heavenly treat that melted in our mouths, leaving us with a lingering sense of bliss.
Overall, our experience at Cocktail Room by Miso Sexy was nothing short of magical. The rooftop ambience, combined with the awe-inspiring view of the Qutub Minar, created an enchanting atmosphere that made our visit truly unforgettable. The creative and meticulously crafted drinks, with the diverse food offerings, showcased the culinary expertise and passion of the talented team behind the scenes. The attentive service and attention to detail further enhanced our dining experience, making us feel truly valued and cared for.
