Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of Mata Mansa Devi Place of Worship Board, Sushil Sarwan, visited the proposed parking lot at Shri Kali Mata Mandir Kalka and directed the concerned officers to start the construction work of the parking lot on a priority basis. SDM Kalka Nisha Yadav was also present on this occasion.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner met with officials from the Mata Mansa Devi Worship Place Board, Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads), and Irrigation at the SDM office in Kalka. He presided over the meeting organized by the officials of the Water Resources Department and Municipal Council Kalka.
He mentioned that a new parking lot is to be constructed for the convenience of the devotees coming to Kali Mata Temple Kalka. Chief Minister Manohar Lal recently visited Kali Mata Temple and gave instructions to start the construction work of the parking lot as soon as possible so that the visiting devotees as well as the local people can benefit from it. Sushil Sarwan directed the officials of the Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads) and Irrigation and Water Resources Department to start the work of building a bridge over the river and an approach road to the parking lot for parking arrangement as soon as possible.
He stated that after the construction of this parking lot, the devotees coming to Kali Mata temple will not only get convenience but will also get relief from the jam caused by vehicular movement on Solan-Kalka road. He mentioned that Kali Mata temple is the center of faith for the people, and during Navratri, a large number of devotees come to see the Mata.
On this occasion, Tehsildar Kalka Vivek Goyal, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads) Arun Singhmar, SDO Satpal Kadian, Executive Engineer of Irrigation and Water Resources Department Anurag Goyal, SDO Sukhvindra, Secretary of Kali Mata Temple Kalka Prithviraj were also present.
