The residents of the Dhaula Kuan slum have received a notice from Delhi’s Public Works Department requesting that they leave the area within 15 days. The residents of the slum claimed they had nowhere else to go during the extreme cold wave. According to the PWD notification published on December 29, police assistance would be sought if the site is not cleared within the allotted period.
