Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh Lovely slams the AAP-led Delhi government, accusing them of squandering taxpayers’ money in a two-day assembly session.
He contends that the session, marred by clashes between the ruling AAP and opposition BJP MLAs, failed to address urgent issues. According to Lovely, the assembly should have prioritized discussions on pressing concerns like continuous air pollution, escalating crimes against women, and the deteriorating condition of roads contributing to dust pollution.
Lovely emphasizes that the session became a “total washout” with acrimony overshadowing meaningful dialogue. He points out the government’s failure to address critical issues, attributing it to a lack of coordination among ministers and officials, along with constant conflicts with the Lt. Governor and blame games.
He further said that people have been suffering in silence due to the government’s failure to address many serious issues affecting them, due to a lack of coordination between the ministers and the officials, and the Delhi government’s constant fight with the Lt. Governor and blame games.
