The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar on Thursday to protest against the Congress Party for insulting the Vice President of India outside Parliament. The Delhi BJP Chief stated, “This protest is against the undemocratic ideology of Congress and the opposition.”
Led by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, hundreds of BJP workers protested at Jantar Mantar against Congress and opposition leaders, expressing outrage over the perceived desecration of Parliament’s dignity. The demonstration called for Rahul Gandhi’s resignation.
Addressing the protesters, the Delhi BJP Chief emphasized that the protest aims to uphold the unity and integrity of the country and the constitutional positions, rather than promoting the party’s ideology. He added that the demonstration opposes the mentality of Congress and the opposition, which appears to be undermining the integrity of the country.
Sachdeva highlighted, “The President, the Vice President, and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha in India are not just posts; they are institutions. Congress and the opposition are attacking those institutions. Delhi and the country will never forgive this behavior.”
