According to authorities, a lady and her 4-year-old daughter were killed and three others were injured after a vehicle struck them while they were sleeping outside their shanties in the national capital’s Civil Lines district on Friday.
According to Delhi Police, at 5:33 a.m. on Friday, a PCR call was received at the Civil Lines police station, and the caller reported that a tempo had hit five individuals. The police crew arrived quickly and discovered one vehicle in an accident and five injured people nearby, according to them.
The victims, who reside in jhuggis (shanties), were resting on Charpai (cots) outside. According to them, four of them are family members and one is a neighbor. The injured were transported to the trauma center for prompt medical assistance. Jyoti, 32, was confirmed dead, and her 4-year-old girl daughter died during treatment, according to authorities.
They claimed a guy named Subhash, a 6-year-old daughter, and a 17-year-old suffered minor injuries and were released from the hospital.
