In the Kanjhawala case, a major development has come as CCTV footage has been found by the Delhi Police in which Anjali and her friend, identified by police as Nidhi was seen coming out of a hotel at around 1.30 am on 1 January.

Meanwhile, in the CCTV footage both the women were seen leaving the hotel on a scooty with Anjali on the pillion seat and Nidhi riding.

During the investigation, the woman has been identified as Nidhi a friend of the deceased Anjali.

In the CCTV footage, Anjali was seen wearing a pink colored jacket while Nidhi was wearing a Red Jacket.

Moreover, during investigations, Nidhi said she was covering a distance and later Anjali told her that she will ride the scooty and Nidhi sat on the pillion seat.

In the accident, Nidhi sustained minor injuries whereas Anjali’s leg got stuck in the car and was dragged along under the car.

Anjali was dragged for nearly 13 km by the car which hit her scooty. The statement of the girl will be recorded on Tuesday.

However, the Ministry of Home Affairs ordered a detailed inquiry into the matter by IPS officer Shalini Singh and at around 12:30 Am on Tuesday, Special Commissioner Shalini Singh inspected the crime spot at Krishan Vihar in Sultanpuri.

Furthermore, four to five locations were inspected by Special Commissioner Shalini Singh and Singh went to the spot where the girl’s body was found.
