The father of a minor wrestler claimed to have “corrected” his previous statement regarding Brij Bhushan Singh’s case and that he had made a false complaint against the bhushan “out of anger” last week, according to media reports. The father of the minor had reportedly admitted to being “under a lot of pressure” and that the entire family was “in depression,” according to Olympian Bajrang Punia , who made this claim later. He had stated that the wrestlers will stage a larger protest if the government did not file the chargesheet in the complaint by 15 June as promised.
