A management consultant from New Delhi has disclosed his earnings, and the amount has left social media users in awe. While strolling through New York, the unnamed consultant was interviewed by the Instagram channel Salary Scale.
When asked about his job, he responded, “I work as a management consultant.” He mentioned having eight to nine years of experience in the field. “In India, salaries for management consultants are very standard. So across the top three firms, a person like me – so I’m like a senior manager – someone like that can expect making ₹80,000 to ₹1.2 crore per annum,” he revealed.
The interviewer described the earnings as “a crazy amount of money as per Indian standards.”
The consultant further noted that the salary can increase with performance bonuses. He expressed that he is “obviously very happy” with his earnings, which motivate him to excel. He also mentioned that recruitment typically occurs through campus placements.
Regarding his education, he stated that he completed his MBA at the Indian School of Business (ISB).
