A shocking video from Delhi shows a 25-year-old man being stabbed to death in Delhi’s Jafrabad on Monday, in an attack that was allegedly carried out by the family of a woman he was dating, as per the police.
The woman’s father and brothers are said to have attacked the victim, Salman. He was stabbed fatally in the neck and chest, and he died at the scene of the crime. CCTV cameras in the neighbourhood captured the entire incident.
Salman had been friends with a woman over the previous two years, but her family was against their relationship, the police said. Salman was allegedly attacked on Monday while riding his motorbike by the woman’s father, Manzoor, brother Moshin, and another minor sibling.
CCTV footage makes it clear that Salman was riding his bike with two other people in a narrow Jafrabad lane. The three men of his girlfriend’s family brandishing weapons stopped Salman and others. They repeatedly stabbed Salman, and he ultimately died on the spot. Upon witnessing the attack, Salman’s two friends fled from the scene after seeing the daylight murder.
The Delhi Police have registered a case and have deployed teams to track down the culprits, Manzoor and his sons, who are all absconding.
