The Delhi High Court in the case observed and has denied the to accused Neelam Azad, who is arrested over the security breach in the Parliament last year.
The bench headed by Additional Sessions Judge Hardeep Kaur of Patiala House Courts in the case observed and has dismissed the petition moved by one Azad wherein seeking bail in the case registered by the Delhi Police under Unlawful Activities, Prevention Act.
The court observed that Azad is presently being in judicial custody, along with co accused persons Sagar Sharma, Manoranjan D and Amol Shinde.
The court directed the Delhi Police to supply the copy of FIR to Azad.
Therefore, the court stayed the order passed by the Delhi High Court after the Delhi Police challenged the same. Thus, the plea moved is pending before the court.
The court in the case observed that in a major security breach on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack, two persons jumped into the chamber of Lok Sabha from the public gallery when the Zero Hour was in session. Thus, the duo was identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D.
The court stated that in the photographs and videos that surfaced on social media, the two were seen holding canisters which released yellow gas and they were also shouting slogans.
The court also stated that they were overpowered by some of the Member of Parliaments (MPs).
The court observed that two other accused, identified as Amol Shinde and Neelam Azad, also sprayed coloured gas from similar canisters outside the premises of the Parliament.
Further, they were reportedly shouting ‘tanashahi nahi chalegi.’
