The gorgeous Deepika Padukone recently made an extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. However, she did not charge even a single rupee for it.
Deepika told The Week in a recent interview, “I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands’ glory. I watched my mother do it. This was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands’ careers. Other than that, any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with Rohit Shetty.” She also talked about her relationship with SRK and shared, “We are each other’s lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other.”
For those unaware, Deepika made her Bollywood debut opposite SRK in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om.
Meanwhile, she has several projects in her kitty. The actress will soon be seen in Fighter in which she will share the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. Apart from this, Deepika is also working on her much-awaited Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas. She also has the Hindi remake of The Intern With megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
