Deepika on radar: Bollywood’s drug links unfold like a pack of cards

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has revealed all the dirty secrets of the film industry which were under wraps until now. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has extended its probe into the drug consumption in Bollywood to a talent agency called KWAN Talent Management Agency. Earlier, Sushant’s talent manager from KWAN Jaya Saha was questioned. She allegedly exposed several big names, including Deepika Padukone.

During her five-hour-long interrogation, popular names like Deepika and Shraddha Kapoor supposedly spilled out and WhatsApp chats were retrieved in which they allegedly spoke about procuring drugs. Recently, a chat went viral in which two individuals allegedly identified as D (Deepika) and K (her manager from KWAN Karishma Prakash) could be seen talking about procuring hash. Confirming the development, NCB on Wednesday summoned KWAN Agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar, Jaya and two others for the investigation. It is speculated that Deepika and Shraddha might be called for questioning this week. Kangana Ranaut and Raveena Tandon reacted to this latest development. Kangana slammed Deepika with a tweet. “Repeat after me, depression is a consequence of drug abuse. So-called high society rich star children who claim to be classy and have a good upbringing ask their manager, maal hai kya?,” she wrote.

Raveena Tandon , on the other hand, tweeted, “It was high time for clean up to happen. Very welcome! Will help our young/ future generations. Start from here, surely proceed to all sectors. Uproot it from its core. Punish the guilty, users, the dealers/suppliers. The profiting Big Guys on the take, who give it a blind eye and ruin people.”
