District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, chaired a significant meeting at the DC Office Complex today to evaluate the progress in resolving public grievances received through the JKIGRAM Portal.

During the meeting, DDC Mahajan stressed the importance of expediting the resolution of pending grievances with both efficiency and effectiveness, urging departments to maintain a high standard of service delivery.

According to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Abdul Star, a total of 2228 grievances have been registered on the portal, of which 2172 have been successfully addressed to date.

Underlining the LG Administration’s commitment to promptly addressing public concerns, DDC Mahajan directed officials to ensure the timely resolution of all outstanding grievances.

Conducting a comprehensive review of each department’s performance, DDC Mahajan solicited feedback to gain a nuanced understanding of the prevailing situation.

While acknowledging that most departments have effectively managed their caseloads, DDC Mahajan expressed concern over a few departments experiencing significant backlogs.

Stressing the urgency of the matter, all officers present were tasked with accelerating the grievance redressal process. DDC Mahajan reaffirmed the District Administration Reasi’s dedication to delivering efficient governance and promptly addressing citizen grievances.

The meeting was attended by prominent officials including PO Poshan Mohammad Anwar Banday, Joint Director Planning Sunita Kanchan, ACD Pardeep Kumar, ACR Anshumali Sharma, CEO, ARTO, and other senior district officers.

The DDC emphasized the collective responsibility of all departments to ensure the seamless delivery of services and the timely resolution of public grievances, reflecting the administration’s commitment to fostering a responsive and accountable governance system.
