In Delhi, a man ordered wheat from a quick commerce company and was dismayed to discover it would expire in just eight days. He shared his frustration on social media, urging the company to address the issue. Zepto responded to his tweet, requesting order details and expressing regret for the inconvenience. They assured him that their team would reach out soon.

However, the problem escalated when customer care advised him to finish the flour within seven days. Yadav questioned the feasibility of consuming 10 kg of flour in such a short time, especially for a small family. Expressing his disappointment, Yadav criticized the company’s customer service and urged them to display expiration dates on their app. He emphasized that selling nearly expired products at full price was unfair to customers.

Yadav even offered to send 7 kg of flour to the company’s founders to highlight the issue faced by ordinary consumers. Despite offers of a refund from Zepto, Yadav declined, focusing instead on the principle of the matter. He emphasized the importance of checking expiration dates on purchased products, highlighting the need for consumer awareness and fair business practices.
