The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 July exam is being held today. Here are the important details you need to know to ensure a smooth and successful exam day.
Important Guidelines
- Carry Your Admit Card: Make sure to bring your admit card to the exam center. Without it, you will not be allowed to take the test.
- Photo ID Proof: Carry a valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport along with your admit card.
- COVID-19 Protocols: Follow all COVID-19 safety protocols, including wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, and using hand sanitizer.
- Prohibited Items: Do not bring electronic gadgets, calculators, or any other prohibited items into the exam hall.
Reporting Time
- Morning Shift: Report to the exam center by 7:30 AM. The exam will start at 9:30 AM to 12 Noon.
- Afternoon Shift: Report to the exam center by 12:30 PM. The exam will start at 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Admit Card
- Download and print your admit card from the official CTET website
- Ensure all details on the admit card are correct. Contact the authorities if there are any discrepancies.
Exam Format
- Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V.
- Paper 2: For candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII.
- Each paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions, and you will have 2.5 hours to complete it. 1 mark is awarded for the correct answer and there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer. Paper 1 consists of 5 sections and paper 2 consists of 4.
