The Crime Branch Sector 26 police apprehended a minor and two other suspects involved in a robbery, seizing 15 bullets from their possession. Inspector Gurmel Singh and his team arrested the two additional suspects, including a minor, in connection with an attempted robbery at a jewelry shop in Madanpur.

The arrested individuals were identified as Sajan Nishad, son of Ganesh Nishad, hailing from village Bhelwa, district Mungar Bihar, and a minor. The confiscated items included 15 cartridges of 7.65 mm.

Inspector Gurmel Singh of Crime Branch Sector 26 Panchkula disclosed that on February 15, a failed robbery attempt involving gunfire occurred at Madanpur Jewelry shop.
Subsequently, on February 25, the Crime Branch team apprehended six suspects, including a minor, and on the same day, the 7th accused, Khadev alias Shail, son of Dhoop Singh from village Khanda Jind, was also arrested. Further investigations on February 26 led to the arrest of two additional suspects, including a minor, with the recovery of 15 illegal bullets.

The Inspector explained that prior to the criminal act, Gurpreet alias Guppy, son of Tejpal, Sahid alias Sahil alias Mulla, son of Sarwar Khan, and Aman Rajput alias Pakaudi had purchased illegal weapons from Sajan Nishad, who, in turn, had acquired them from the minor accused.

After the apprehension of both suspects, 15 illegal bullets were seized, and they were presented before the court. Sajan Nishad was remanded to judicial custody, while the minor accused was sent to the correctional home in Ambala.
